The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) delivery order with subsequent firm fixed price modifications under pending Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0006 to The Boeing Company of St. Louis, Missouri. The Contractor shall provide engineering change proposal (ECP) updates to technical publications, interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs) and logistics support analysis (LSA)/provisioning in support of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft. The ordering period for this IDIQ delivery order will run from delivery order award through 31 March 2022. This is a follow-on to Delivery Order 0181 previously awarded on BOA N00019-16-G-0001. This sole source award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the fleet. The Boeing Company is the only known firm that possesses the technical data resources and expertise necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements.
The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
