The 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Jim Tobul Airshows for an aerial demonstration that includes a surface level Chance Vought F4U Corsair flying acrobatics routine and a formation with a P-51 Class of '45 Mustang for the 2019 Air Show, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 713990, All Other Amusement and Recreation Industries, with a size standard of $7.5M. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
