The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation- Richmond intends to award the attached items to a Rapid Delivery Release (RDR) contract to Rolls-Royce United Kingdom,  CAGE       K0378 in accordance with the approved J & A. RDR orders shall authorize the contractor to commence performance immediately.  This requirement contains 64 NSNs that will be evaluated individually for award. 

It is the Government's intent to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equjipment  Manufacturer (OEM); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs please notifiy the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date.  Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis.  The response should include a completed surplus ceritificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the products are acceptable.  The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing suprlus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interst of the Gvernment.
