The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the Westhampton Nourishment Contract No. 2 and West of Shinnecock Inlet Nourishment. This acquisition shall be UNRESTRICTED with a price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns in accordance with FAR Clause 52.219-4.The estimated construction value of this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $7,000,000.00. The completion period is approximately 180 calendar days after the chosen contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment (dredge plant and appurtenant equipment), and services (except those furnished by the government) and perform the following work: a) The Westhampton Interim Re-nourish ment - Hydraulic placement of sand fill between Stations 533+98.28 to 558+38 and 613+68 to 689+83.12 utilizing Borrow areas 4B and 5A.b. b) Wet of Shinnecock Re-nourishment - Hydraulic placement of sand fill between Stations 0+00 and 34+44 utilizing the We st of Shinneock Borrow Area.
