The Contract shall be required to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, and other incidentals necessary to provide services for fuels reduction and forest health as follows: Thinning, Slashing (approximately 10 acres), Slash Piling (approximately 10 acres), Mechanical Thinning (Approximately 234 acres), Forest Health Improvement/Biomass Utilization, and approximately 1,638 green tons of Biomass. The project area contains approximately 1,000 tons of biomasss consisting of sapling/pole to mature size pinyon and juniper trees. Note: All merchantable material to be removed will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer values shown in Line Item 0001 A through. 0001 C. through either application of Conservation Credits earned or cash deposit. The Contractor shall develop and submit a Treatment Plan and Schedule to accomplish the project objectives, and organize and direct all of the equipment and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. The contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. The Treatment Plan and Schedule will be agreed upon by both parties and incorporated into the contract. All changes to the Treatment Plan will be agreed to prior to the changes taking effect. The Treatment Plan and Schedule shall include as a minimum the following items: product removal - felling, limbing and piling of merchantable materials and biomass material, slashing and piling operations, hauling operations (if applicable), equipment involved; Road Maintenance - It is not anticipated that road maintenance will be an issue, however, contractor shall consider this circumstance and shall indicate blading specifications, locations of possible temporary roads, construction specifications, equipment involved; Fire Prevention Plan - prevention and control of fires, detailed list of personnel and equipment; Slash Plan - equipment and techniques used to meet slash specifications; and Schedule for completion of objectives.
