The Pacific Northwest Region, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Boise, ID, per the authority of FAR 6.001(a) and using FAR Part 13 procedures, intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with Washington State Department of Water Resources for digital orthoimagery of the State of Washington. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 541370. Washington State Department of Water Resources is uniquely qualified as the agency coordinating efforts of Washington State agencies, tribal and federal agencies to acquire meter resolution, true color, ortho-rectified digital imagery for the entire state of Washington. By participating, Reclamation can acquire this data over more extensive areas than they could under a separate acquisition and at a considerably lower price. All information received by 4:00 PM MDT, August 31, 2006, will be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed action, however, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
