Collect forest stand exam data on the Fishlake National Forest. Data will be collected following the Common Stand Exam (V1.4.3) protocol, as modified for this solicitation. The contractor is responsible for determining aerial photo scale and locating points on photos as well as locating points on the ground. The contractor will provide flagging and all forestry equipment necessary to complete this work. The contractor must meet the required experience and education requirements. The project exam areas are dispersed over the four Ranger Districts of the Fishlake Naitonal Forest at various distances from roads. The Fishlake National Forest lies in portions of Sevier, Piute, wayne, Beaver and Millard Counties in Utah. Est. start is September 20, 2002 depending on available funding.
