Furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to harvest locally Slash, Loblolly, and Longleaf Pine tress through selective thinning and standard clear cutting practices, from 8 areas totaling 405 acres. Volumes are estimated at approximately 5612 tons of pulpwood, 863 tons of pine sawtimber, 570 tons of pine chip-n-saw and 75 tons of hardwood pulpwood. Timber is considered to be in average condition for the Sumter Area. The contractor shall have completed harvesting operations and removed all designated timber from the sites by 31 March 2004. The area to be harvested is at Poinsett Electronic Combat Range, Wedgefield, SC in Sumter County. The offeror closing date is 29 AUGUST 2003, at 1600, 4:00 P.M. EST.
