Pre-Solicitation Notice: The National Park Service (NPS), MWR NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a solicitation for Theodore Roosevelt National Park for Elk Reduction Packing Services. The acquisition will be conducted using Request for Quotes (RFQ) process. The NPS intends to award a firm-fixed price, commercial service contract in response to this RFQ. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow.

Project Description: Elk Reduction Packing Service. Experienced Meat Recovery Packers for Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The packer shall be familiar with pack horses/mules, capable of preparing and packing and removing game in rough terrain and transporting meat to park cooler facility. Packer must be able to travel the South Unit of park within 3 hours of notification.
Notice to Offeror(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under the solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
