Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervison, equipment, transportation and any supplies necessary to perform piling of slash from timber harvest and associated activities that occurred in 1992 and 1993. Piles shall be done in a manner that allows the Forest Service to safely burn the piles in the winter of 2003 without rollout and fire spread and maintain the existing conifer stocking. There are approximately 92 acres to be piled. This project is on the Happy Camp Ranger District, Klamath National Forest. The solicitation should be ready to download from this site, on or about May 23, 2003. Start date is approximately mid July with contract time of 45 calendar days.
