The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a non-competitve cost reimbursable contract to Jardines Eneida, Inc. for the purpose of propagation of native tree species to be used for reforestation efforts at the Caribbean Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Puerto Rico. Native species are not readily available and relatively little is known about their reproductive biology and propagation techniques. From 100 to 300 individuals will be produced of a variety of native species. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will provide technical expertise on phenology, population locations, and seed collection and Jardines will provide the location, materials and expertise in propagation. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.*****
