Work shall consist of providing personnel for lookout services for the detection and reporting of smoke or fires within and adjacent to the watersheds of the Tiller Ranger District, Umpqua National Forest. Additionally, the incumbent shall monitor and forward radio messages and record and report weather conditions. Minor facilities maintenance may be performed by the Contractor using Goverment supplies and equipment. Estimated start work is July 1. This project includes terms covering two additional option year periods. When ready, the solicitation will be available on line, hard copies will not be provided. A quote receipt date will be established when actually posted to the FEDBIZOPS site.
