Contractor will provide a machine mounted, vertical shaft brush cutting, thinning and shredding machine with operator to thin pinion pine, Juniper trees, some oakbrush and other mountain shrubs. All moving costs will be incorporated into the hourly rate. Contractor will thin said vegetation by 60 to 65% in random mosaics as directed by the contracting officer or his representative. Vegetation will be mulched on site with a minimum of 90% of material being smaller than 4" in diameter. See numbered note 1.
