The work consists of reducing the risk of high intensity wildland fire by thinning and removing western juniper fuels and utilizing biomass material for electricity production. Work includes stand density reduction of approximately 8-16 tons/acre with a reduction of western juniper by an average 50-60 percent per acre. Project site is located in the Eagle Lake Field Office, California. This solicitation includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price. This solicitation will be posted electronically.
