Work will involve securing narrow leaf cottonwood (Populus angustifolia) and native willow species : river willow (Salix ericephala), Pacific willow (Salix lasiandra), and yellow willow (Salix lutea) pole cuttings from a local source. Poles will be inserted into a six (6) foot deep hole that reaches the water table. A ventilated tree shelter will be installed over the pole and secured in place with wooden stake.
