Project consists of thinning conifers, reducing brush species and slash by the mastication of conifers, hardwoods, slash and live and dead brush on 259 acres of National Forest land, Trinity River Management Unit, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Trinity County, California. Thinning shall consist of selecting leave trees and masticating all other trees. Brush cutting shall consist of masticating (mechanically shredding, cutting and chipping) live and dead brush. Solicitation will require a technical, as well as price, proposal addressing the evaluation criteria presented in Section M of the solicitation. A pre-bid meeting will be held, date and time to be announced in the solicitation. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about March 11, 2005.
