The Flathead National Forest intends to solicit quotations for the reclamation of approximately 7 miles on several roads located on the Glacier View Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. Items of work include, but are not limited to, determining stake locations, construction of road closure earth berms and waterbars, removal and disposal of culverts, stream restoration, and seeding and fertilizing the worksites. Additionally, importation and spreading of riprap is required at most of the culvert removal sites. Estimated start work date is July 15, 2006. All decommissioning work shall be completed no later than September 15, 2006. Solicitation issue date, May 10, 2006. A pre-proposal tour is scheduled for May 31, 2006.
