Purpose of this project is to acquire services for a PERFORMANCE-BASED SERVICE CONTRACT requiring tree thinning, dwarf mistletoe sanitation, slash treatment, and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items listed as government-furnished property. Designated areas of small-diameter lodgepole pine and other tree species will be thinned to specific intervals where defective and excess trees will be removed for the purpose of obtaining a healthy and thrifty residual stand. All dwarf mistletoe infested trees shall be removed. Project is located in Gunnison County, CO, Gunnison, Uncompahgre & Grand Mesa National Forest. There is approximately 151 acres to be thinned.
