The purpose of this contract is to manipulate vegetative fuels on certain acres (fuelbreaks and adjacent terrain) of the Hume Lake Ranger District. The desired end result is to minimize the threat of fire advancing by reducing the flammable fuels and improving wildlife habitat in the designated areas. The Contractor shall achieve this objective by mechanically pushing and piling or crushing vegetative growth and slash on fuelbreaks and adjacent terrain. Recommended contract time: 99 days.
