THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW AND PRINT ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEB SITE IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. LOWMAN TIMBER STAND IMPROVEMENT. The solicitation is for tree thinning, stand improvement, and hazardous fuels reduction on the Boise National Forest, Lowman Ranger District. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. All aspects of the work program shall be performed in an organized, systematic manner to assure services will be performed over the entire unit. This is a Performance Based, firm-fixed price contact. The general locations of the contract units are shown on the vicinity map with specific locations of the contract units on the individual item maps. The project area is located on Lowman Ranger District, Boise National Forest, Boise County, Idaho. The NAICS code is 115310; size standard is $6.0 Million. The estimated start date is July 2005 thru August 2005. See numbered note #1.
