The scope of work for this contract is to collect existing stand condition information. The information will be gathered using a sample design format with a predetermined number of plots. The contractor is responsible for determining sample design information such as plot location, Basal Area Factor and Small Fixed Plot size. The contractor will measure various stand and tree characteristics such as tree diameter, tree height, tree growth and age, crown density and fuel loadings, and will determine various attributes such as insect and disease, or other damaging agents and extent of such damage.
