BLM has a requirement for a fuels reduction/vegetation improvement project with the Knowlton, Montana area. This requirement is for grinding/shredding of approximately 401 acres of vegetation by wheeled or tracked mounted equipment either hydraulic or power-take-off (PTO) driven cutter head. The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. Work under this contract is located in Custer County, Montana. The Period of Performance is 150 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work is anticipated to start the beginning to middle of August 2013. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 115310. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $17.5 million.
