The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada intends to award on a "sole source" basis a purchase order to River Bottom Farms Inc., Route 2, Box 22, Cibola, Arizona 85328. This purchase order is for irrigation and farming services at the restoration demonstration site at Cibola National Wildlife Refuge, located near Cibola, Arizona. This work is in support of the implementation of the Multi-Species Conservation Program (MSCP). The MSCP is a joint Federal-State (Arizona, California, and Nevada) undertaking to assure that the water and power operations, both present and future, of Reclamation's Lower Colorado Region are in compliance with the ESA. Work will include irrigating riparian species of cottonwood/willow and upland vegetation a minimum of sixteen waterings per year at the restoration demonstration sites at Cibola National Wildlife Refuge. Work will also include preparing the fields for planting by eradicating vegetation by spraying as needed. Land prep will also include disking, leveling and seeding on an "as needed basis" determined by Reclamation personnel. Contractor must have an existing land use agreement with Cibola National Wildlife Refuge. River Bottom Farms Inc. has such an agreement.
