SYNOPSIS
The objective of this contract is to procure contractor services to control noxious and invasive weeds on Jordan River lands administered by the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission in South Jordan and Draper, Utah. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 as a total small business set aside. Vendors must be a small business and registered in SAM.gov to be eligible for award.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This contract consists of treatment for control of noxious weed and invasive species at portions of the Jordan River in Utah. Treatment includes applying herbicides in the springtime (April to May) to treat hoary cress (LEDR), poison hemlock, and Scotch/musk thistle (ONAC) on the Jordan River Migratory Bird Refuge and areas south of 12300 South in Draper on the Colby Property, as well as mowing Russian thistle (SATR) in the summertime (August) on the Jordan River Migratory Bird Refuge. Additionally, the contractor will produce a report that includes an inspection report for monitoring effectiveness and compliance purposes; a synopsis of the treatments applied; a summary of all chemicals applied; and a discussion of the success of treatments and recommendations for future treatments.
The period of performance shall be from date of award through December 31, 2025.
