Request for Quote, 03SQ303099, dated January 21, 2003, is hereby amended as follows: Items Number 4 and 5 contain additional information for hydroseeding. 1. Area to be hydroseeded is approximately 22 acres. 2. Mobilization of equipment and personnel for hydroseeding will be required at 4 separate times between 15 March - 30 April. Exact dates to be determined by Reclamation and Contractor upon award of contract. 3. 15.8 acres to be seeded with Populus Fremontii, Salix exigua, and Salix goodingii. Seeds of these species to be collected by US Bureau of Reclamation and provided to contractor at site on days of hydroseeding. 4. Additional 6.5 acres seeded with 18 pounds per acre Pure Live Seed of the following species and percentages to be provided by the contractor: 30% Atriplex lentiformis, 15% A. canescens, 15% A. polycarpa, with the remaining 40% to include any or all of the following, according to availability: Baileya mutiradiata Phacelia campanularia Encelia farinose Lupinus arizonicus L. sparsiflorus Escholtzia glyptosperma E. minutiflora Hymenoclea salsola 5. In addition to seed in amounts specified in No. 4, the hydroseed mix will include the following: Approximately 1500 pounds per acre mulch Approximately 80 pounds per acre organic tackifier Approximately 200 pounds per acre fertilizer (16-20-0) NOTE: U.S. Wage Determination No.: 1994-2331 (Arizona & Nevada) is replaced with U.S. Wage Determination No.: 1994-2053 for the state of California.
