Project Title: Snow-Talon Jammer Road Reclamation-Phase 3 The Helena N.F. intends to issue a solicitation for the decomissioning of jammer roads located on the Lincoln Ranger District. The work includes but is not limited to clearing the vegetation from road beds, recontouring the road beds, ripping road beds, scattering slash and seeding the disturbed areas. The contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to perform recontouring on 7.3 miles and rip and seed .6 miles. The contractor will provide the seed. No pre-bid tour is scheduled. Estimated start work date is July 18, 2007. A firm fixed price contract is expected to result from this solicitation. The estimate cost range is from $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 15, 2007 and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
