The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture, is seeking contractor(s) to provide Grazing Lands Inventory, in Dickey, Emmons, Kidder, Logan, and McIntosh Counties, North Dakota. The intent of the Agency is to solicit the most efficient and effective manner to complete the requirements of this inventory. The contractor tasks will consist of conducting a complete vegetative inventory, identifying existing physical structures, analyzing the data collected, and work with producers to develop prescribed grazing plans. The primary source of technical guidance in completing tasks under this contract will be the Prescribed Grazing – 528 Design and Installation Guide. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and support necessary to provide the services as solicited. Contractor will complete documents that demonstrate criteria in practice standards have been met and are compatible with planned and applied practices, identify fields where practices to be applied on a farm or ranch plan map, develop operation and maintenance plans, specification sheet that adequately describes practice requirements, certifying that the Grazing Management Plan meets practice standards and designing modifications during installation as required. Contractor shall provide a Project Manager who is a Certified Technical Services Provider for Grazing/Forages.

The Request for Proposal will be available on or about April 26, 2007. A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be held on May 7, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. CST.
