This project consists of grapple piling services on two districts of the Ochoco National Forest in Prineville and Paulina, Oregon.This project will be commercial items, Indefinite Quantities contract, multi year (3 Year) HubZone set-aside. The minimum number of acres is 327 and the maximum over the 3 years is 3,000 acres. Solicitation will be uploaded on February 24, 2005. Date for receiving quotes is March 24, 2005, close of business. Grapple piling will consist of making piles of downed woody debris (slash) using a lift and pile track mounted mechanism rather than a push and pile (dozer/tractor) mechanism. This project is a performance based contract. Orders made be placed through October 30, 2007. Estimated start work date is May 16, 2005.
