The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Colorado State Office, is soliciting for the Gold Basin Stewardship project. Description of Work: The purpose of this contract is to provide services for forest health improvement, fuels reduction, and aspen restoration. This will be accomplished by removing vegetative materials to protect and benefit the areas natural resources. The BLM has been directed to manage fire and resources together to protect people, natural resources and property, and to restore forest wildlife and rangeland health. Location: The project area is located in Saguache County, Colorado. Unit 1 is located in T.48 N., R.1 E., NMPM, Section 29. Unit 2 is located in T.48 N., R.1 E., NMPM, Section 32 and T.47 N., R.1 E. NMPM Section 5. Unit 3 is located in T.48 N., R.1 E., NMPM, Section 32. The project area is located approximately 12 miles south southwest of Gunnison, Colorado. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 115310, with a standard size of $17.5 million.
