This is a Stewardship Contract. The Bureau of Land Management intends to enter into a contract for the Gerber Stew Stewardship project with private persons or other public or private entities to perform services to achieve land management goals for public lands that meet local and rural community needs. Project areas are located in the Klamath Falls Resource Area of the BLM. Items of work include: commercial fuel volume removal of ponderosa pine and juniper; precommercial thinning; cutting, piling and covering of slash, yarding, removal of tubing and wire wickets, road construction and maintenance and fence installation/repair. This will be an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for up to 10 years. A 20% Performance Bond will be required. This solicitation will be posted electronically.
