The Forest Service is seeking quotations for the Everitt Shaded Fuel Break on the Shasta McCloud Management Unit on the Shasta Trinity National Forest. The purpose of this project is to create a shaded fuel break within approximately 150 to 200 feet of the Everitt Memorial Highway by mechanically clearing brush and downed forest debris covering approximately 40 acres. Location: This project is located in Siskiyou County on the McCloud Ranger District of the Shasta Trinity National Forest. Work is estimated to start in early August 2006. The solicitation estimated issue date is July 24, 2006, with an estimated due date of August 4, 2006. The solicitation will be posted on this website for viewing and printing.
