The intent of this contract is to secure services for mulching and shredding of Dwarf Mistletoe infested seedlings and saplings, pruning Dwarf Mistletoe from the first 30 feet of leave trees, thinning dense residual and ladder fuels and preparation of the site for planting by mulching and shredding undesirable brush and slash, by mechanical processes. Work consists of approximately 120 acres. Estimated start work date 9/22/03, contract time 106 days. Estimated solicitation issue date 8/18/03. Project is located in three different stands. The first is located 8 miles north of Truckee near Hobart Mills. The second is located 6 miles east of Truckee adjacent to Prosser Reservoir on Boca Hill. The third is located 12 miles northeast of Truckee near Stampede Dam just south of Wornmill Creek.
