The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for Tree Thinning and Slash Treatment on the Black Mesa Ranger District for approximately 219 acres. The Government anticipates awarding a Performance Bases Service Contract (PBSC) with a Firm Fixed Price. Award will be based on the successful offeror's proposal that provides the best value to the Government with consideration givento past performance, submittal documentation to satisfy eveluation factors for PBSC, and methods proposed to accomplish the work. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $5.0 Million under NAICS code 115310. A pre-quotation meeting/Site Visit will be scheduled and announced in the RFQ package. The solicitation package, plans and specifications will be made available on or after March 15, 2004, and will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Offerors must now be registered in th Central Contractor Registration System (CCR).
