The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to rehabilitate and construct firebreaks at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge. The project includes clearing and rehabing approximately 167 miles of firebreaks to an 8 foot width, disking and crowning with a slope of 4:1, fertilizing and planting grasses and construction of approximately 5 miles of new firebreaks. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 115310 and the size standard is $6.5 Million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative date for issuance of Request for Quotes is 08/29/07 with a closing date of 09/20//07. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 120 days.
