Camino Grapple Piling Contract, is located on the Tahoe National Forest, Sierraville Ranger District. The intent of this contract is to secure services for the piling of down woody material and competing vegetation. The end result will be an open pine stand suitable for planting seedlings after the piles are burned. The project consists of 92 acres. The project may be reached from Sierraville via Highway 89 north approximately 10 miles to FS Road 89-95. Follow FS Road 89-95 approximately 1.5 miles to FS Road 71. Go north on FS Road 71 approximately 5.5 miles to FS Road 71-41-65. Go south on FS Road 71-41-65 approximately 3 miles. The work area is located to the east of FS Road 71-41-65.
