The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits and licenses necessary to perform biomass/sawtimber cut and removal. The contract period is from date of award through November 1, 2006, located on the Sierraville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest, off Highway 89. The project consists of 637 acres. Treatment will be by using a feller buncher, whole tree yarding, and utilization of yarded material and disposal of merchantable and unmerchantable material. The result shall be fire hazard reduction and forest health. Estimated solicitation issue date AUGUST 9, 2004.
