The intent of this contract is to secure services for Mechanical Tree Thinning on 409 acres for fire hazard reduction and forest health. A feller buncher shall be used to whole tree yard, whole tree stack, utilization of yarded material and disposal of unmerchantable material. The project is located on Tahoe National Forest, Sierraville Ranger District. Estimated solicitation issue date 9/22/03. Estimated start work date June 15, 2004.
