NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR F-35 PANORAMIC COCKPIT DISPLAYS (PCDS) WITH Driven Technologies, Inc.

The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting at Edwards AFB, CA intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price purchase order, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Driven Technologies, Inc., 2807 Catherine Way, Santa Ana, CA 92705, for eight (8) F-35 Panoramic Cockpit Displays (PCDs). The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 1,250 employees.

The items will be procured as follows:
CLIN 0001 - Eight (8) F-35 Panoramic Cockpit Displays
CLIN 0002 - Freight Fee

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).  This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.  Interested parties may submit their interest and capabilities statements to the Contract Specialist below; not later than 3:00PM, PST on 28 August 2019.  Based on the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition.  Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.  If you have specific questions, please e-mail the Contract Specialist at [email protected].
