The F-35 Joint Program Office intends to issue a modification to delivery order 0026 under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-14-G-0020, on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth, TX to provide data linked libraries to enable creation of a complete MDF set compatible with the Air Vehicle design for the FMS Reprogramming Lab. The proposed order is anticipated to be awarded in the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2018. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and in accordance with J&A 350215, approved 03 February 2016. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
