THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS:  AMIC DET 2 OL/PKA has a sole source requirement for Radiation Calibrations. This is a Sole Source with Eckert & Ziegler Analytics, Inc. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Eckert & Ziegler Analytics, Inc., is the only source to be able fulfill the highly specialized needs of this requirement. All other awards, would sustain substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition; or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15), Eckert & Ziegler Analytics, Inc., is the only source capable of fulfilling the government’s requirement for Radiation Calibrations. (See Attachment 1 – LOM). The Radiation Calibrations are unique mixtures that supports the Air Force Technical Application Center (AFTAC) Laboratory Measurement Branch. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 325180.

IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
