FedBizOpps Notice for Bridge Contract N00259-05-A-1005 The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to extend, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a bridge contract with Athena Diagnostics who currently supplies the Naval Medical Center San Diego with specialized blood testing for neurological, endocrine and nephrology disorders under contract N00259-05-A-1005. The proposed bridge contract will have a Period of Performance of 01 October 2008 to 30 September 2009. The bridge contract is concluded when the resolicitation for these services is awarded. The bridge contract shall be placed in anticipation of the award of an IDIQ contract resulting from a competitive solicitation that will be advertised on FedBizOps. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafied capability to fulfill the requirements.
