Synopsis: The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center is seeking information from industry regarding potential systems and technologies that can support short-medium range Counter-fire Target Acquisition (CTA) against Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (RAM) threats while maintaining maneuverability and quick displacement for maximum survivability.

Description: The C5ISR Center is interested in receiving information regarding capabilities in the area of maneuverable CTA systems and techniques that fulfill a short-medium range CTA mission. Requirements for this expeditionary system are classified SECRET and will be provided upon request, pending verification of facility security handling procedures.

Requested Information:  The C5ISR Center requests the following information:

1. System designs, specifications, and capabilities
   1. Frequency
   2. Size, weight, power, and cost
   3. Detection range
   4. Target location accuracy
   5. Concept of operation
   6. Maneuverability (emplacement/displacement considerations)
   7. Technology Readiness Level
2. Techniques applicable to an optimized short-medium range CTA mission
   1. Waveforms
   2. Resource management algorithms
   3. Search/Track algorithms

Submission Requirements:   All documents shall be portion marked IAW DoDM 5200.01-V2.  Submission of proprietary and other sensitive information shall be marked and identified with disposition instructions (submitted material will not be returned).

• Format shall be Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat Reader. Font size shall NOT be smaller than 12-point Times New Roman or Arial. Corresponding responses should be no more than 20 written pages.

• Responses submitted by contractors that contain U.S. classified military information (CMI) generated in conjunction with a DOD program should be classified in accordance with the applicable Security Classification Guide (SCG).  Please include a copy of the SCG with the submission.  Only U.S. citizens are authorized to respond to this RFI.
