Solicitation N00421-14-T-0091 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with CMC Electronics, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13 and FAR Part 6.302-1. The required materials are direct replacement parts, and therefore must be compatible in all aspects with the existing system presently installed. CMC Electronics has the proprietary rights on engineering data, design and product documentations of their products. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 02/22/2014 by 4:00PM EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses received in relation to this notice will be reviewed for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award all or none.
