The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to procure exhibit services on a sole-source basis. The NSF will be a sponsor at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) 2009 Annual Meeting and Science Innovation Exposition to be held in February 2009. The AAAS requires that all exhibitors utilize Freeman Decorating Services Inc., for the set-up and take-down of their exhibits. Therefore, NSF intends to procure, from Freeman Decorating Services, Inc., services such as structure placement, flooring, furnishings, graphics, electric, and cleaning necessary to set-up and take down the exhibit. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b). This is for informational purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
