This is a notification of the issuance of Request for Proposal (RFP) FA5613-14-R-0021 for the purchase of European Union (EU) compliant appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, and microwaves).
The offered appliances are required to have the following European and local certifications:

a. European Conformity (CE) certification.
b. Verband der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik e.V. (VDE) certification.
c. European Directive 2002/96/EEC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Further, the technical requirements for these appliances are: Voltage 220/240V, Amperage 10A, Frequency 50Hz , and single phase via fitted 3-wire power cable minimum length 1.45m with right angle German Schuko plug installed.
