This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Telephonics Corporation, Farmingdale, New York, to procure two (2) each Data Processing Group Rack Assemblies (Part Number 310-2000-002) and eighteen (18) each VG6 Cards (Part Number 310-2002-004) for the AN/TPX-42A(V) Shipboard Air Traffic Control System under a pre-established Basic Ordering Agreement. These requirements shall support the Special Communications Missions Solutions (SCMS) Division, St. Inigoes, Maryland. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition.

The Government intends to award this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
