THE NEW YORK POWER AUTHORITY (HEREAFTER, THE "AUTHORITY" OR "NYPA") INVITES INTERESTED PARTIES SUBMIT STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATION (“SOQ”) TO PROVIDE EPC SERVICES FOR MAJOR TRANSMISSION AND SUBSTATION PROJECTS FOR THE AUTHORITY, AS NEEDED. These projects would be in connection with the upgrade of the existing transmission lines and substation facilities and/or the construction of new transmission lines or substation facilities throughout the State of New York including those priority transmission projects that may be identified under the recently enacted Accelerated Renewable Energy Growth and Community Benefit Act (“Act”). Respondents must demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Authority that they have the necessary technical experience, qualifications, facilities, ability, safety program and financial resources to provide such EPC Services for Major Transmission and Substation Projects in a reasonable manner. Respondents are hereby directed to make use of the New York Power Authority's website at www.nypa.gov in order to obtain instructions on participating in the solicitation process through Ariba. Respondents obtaining RFQ documents from sources other than NYPA Ariba do so at their own risk. Further details on qualifications/requirements can be found in the RFQ Documents.
