The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Northrop Grumman Corporation for the purpose of procuring five (5) Electro Optical Support System (EOSS) Cameras, P/N 204595-2001, with an option of five (5) additional cameras on a Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP) basis. The EOSS Camera is in support of the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) EO 3 Console and was developed specifically for Navy Electro Optical Support Equipment requirements.

NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the necessary rights in data for these items. As the original equipment manufacturer, Northrop Grumman is the only known source to have sufficient technical data, including drawings to manufacture these items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
