The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is contemplating award of a sole source firm fixed price Purchase Order to be placed with EOS of North America, Inc., 28970 Cabot Dr Ste 700, Novi, MI 48377-2978 for equipment and maintenance services for the EOS M270 direct metal laser sintering machine. EOS of North America is the original equipment manufacturer and does not use or authorize any third parties to perform service or sale parts on their equipment.

A corresponding Sole Source Justification and Approval utilizing the authority
FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition
threshold, only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing
agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization has been approved and is
attached to this notice.

A Request for quote for the aforementioned for equipment and maintenance services for the EOS M270 direct metal laser sintering machine was sent to EOS of North America on 15 June 2018 and quote is due 20 June 2018.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
