Notice is hereby given that the Burke County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed proposals presented to the Burke County Board of Commissioners, P.O. Box 89, 602 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday October 13, 2020, for the Audio Visual systems for the new 911 Call Center and Emergency Operations Center in the Lower Level of the Burke County Judicial Building which is located at 200 E. 6th Street in Waynesboro, Georgia. Proposals will be opened during the Commissioners’ meeting at 6:00 p.m. that same day. No contact can be made with the Facilities Director or any other Burke County personnel. Contacting any individuals with Burke County will disqualify any bidder. Proposers can obtain electronic bid documents by sending an email to [email protected]. All questions regarding the documents shall be sent to the same email address. No questions will be answered via telephone. All proposals must be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond and E-verify Affidavit. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance will be required with The Burke County Board of Commissioners listed as an additional insured for the selected Proposer. The Burke County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the work based on the highest and best interests of Burke County.
